Dr. Madison Perry is a licensed clinical psychologist offering therapy to individuals, couples, and families. She has experience addressing a variety of issues in therapy, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, chronic pain, difficult decision-making, life transitions, and neurodiversity.
Dr. Perry has a genuine, nonjudgmental approach to therapy. Her treatment modalities of choice include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family systems therapy. Dr. Perry is interested in approaches to therapy that appreciate the mind-body connection.
Dr. Perry views people as incredibly capable of change. Using evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a loving and inclusive stance, Dr. Perry helps clients to realize their strengths. This helps clients learn to eventually become their own therapist.
Dr. Perry received her masters and doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Her doctoral research was focused on adolescents with Tourette Syndrome. She has previously worked in community mental health clinics, children’s hospitals, and specialty clinics. Dr. Perry also works as a behavioral and emotional health provider in geriatric psychology.
